I wear alot of sweater turtlenecks in the winter. I tried washing and just lying them flat to dry to prevent them from shrinking in the drier. The sweaters still lost their shape and didn't look the same. When I take them to the cleaners they look brand new but, that is so costly. How can I do it myself and have them still look nice like the cleaners do?

One Response to How can you wash and dry sweaters without having them lose their shape?

  1. kate the great says:

just wash them in a washer with cold water, then hang them to dry, not lay them flat.
